Mobile Mechanical Repair
The repairs that normally mean a tow — done where the truck already is.
This is the work that usually triggers a tow bill: brakes, suspension components, drive lines and air conditioning. A good share of it does not actually require a shop, it just requires someone willing to bring the tools to the truck.
Brakes and air systems are the most common. In a region where trucks run loaded through stop-and-go bridge traffic and then straight onto an open highway, brake and air components wear on a schedule of their own. Suspension work follows from the same duty cycle plus the road surfaces.
A/C deserves its own mention. In the Valley, a failed cab A/C in August is not a comfort issue, it is a safety issue — a driver cannot safely run a shift in that heat. We treat A/C diagnosis and repair as a real repair, not a luxury.
Troubleshooting comes with the job: finding the actual cause, including reading fault codes on the call, is how the repair starts.
Common Questions
What mechanical work can actually be done roadside?
More than most people expect — brakes, air system components, suspension parts, drive line work and A/C repair are all routinely done on site. Major engine and transmission work usually needs a shop — if yours does, we'll tell you.
Can you work at my yard instead of the roadside?
Yes, and it is usually the better option. Scheduling the repair at your yard means the technician has room to work and the truck is not sitting on a shoulder.
Do you fix cab air conditioning?
Yes — A/C diagnosis and repair. In Valley summers a dead A/C takes a truck out of service just as surely as a mechanical failure.
